Male U17 City v Country Twenty20 matches


These matches will be the first official trial for the NSW U/17 Male team. This first match on September 29 will act as the first official Trial between the best City and Country U/17 players.

The Country players have been selected from the 2010 Country Boys Coaching Class that was held at Blacktown Olympic Park in April of this year. From this squad 12 players have been selected to play against City.

Like their Country counterparts, the City squad has been selected from the best U/17 players in Sydney. This group has been training since July, with players going through a strength and conditioning period followed by regular skills training.

Game One on September 29 will be a 50 over match while the second trial on September 30 gives the players a chance to compete in the Twenty20 format under ICC Twenty20 playing conditions.
