Junior softballers from across Australia, Japan and New Zealand will make their way to Blacktown Olympic Park to compete in the Blacktown Junior International Challenge from March 26 - 28.

The Challenge is designed to showcase the talents of up and coming softballers with fierce competition leading up to earn places in the Challenge teams. Teams from Japan were chosen from the All Japan Elementary School Softball League, a competition held in August each year which sees over 80 teams vying for the League title. NSW teams were selected from the 2010 NSW under 14 State Championships whilst New Zealand teams are comprised of players from the New Zealand Under 15 Championships. Development teams have been entered from Canberra.
