The North East Australian Football League (NEAFL) will comprise of a Northern Conference that will include Queensland and NT clubs and an Eastern conference that will consist of NSW & ACT Clubs. Second Tier teams of AFL Clubs Sydney Swans, Brisbane Lions, Gold Coast Suns and GWS GIANTS will also play inter conference games throughout the year.


Winners of the Northern and Eastern Conference Finals will then go head to head in Grand Final to decide the NEAFL Premiers.


Round 8 sees the GWS GIANTS take on Queanbeyan at Blacktown Olympic Park from 2pm.
