The 7th Annual Westlink M7 Cities Marathon will be held on Sunday 29 July 2012 starting at 7.00am from Liverpool City Robins Football Club, Ash Road, Prestons.

The race route is predominantly held on the Westlink M7 shared pathway from Prestons to Rooty Hill. the course is point to point with 1 turn around at the 32.5 km mark. Starting at Prestons (Liverpool City) runners will travel through the following suburbs; Hinchinbrook, Hoxton Park, West Hoxton, Cecil Park, Horsley Park, Eastern Creek, Rooty Hill, Glendenning, Plumpton, Oakhurst & Quakers Hill.

The course is an undulating shared pathway which is sealed and uninteruppted for the 42.195km journey. The steepest section of the course starts from the 7km mark with a gradual incline to the 11km mark.

Competitors will finish at the Blacktown International Sportspark Athletics Centre.
