Under 19 Male and Female softballer's from Australia, the USA and New Zealand will be 'making friends' at Blacktown Olympic Park from July 2 - 6 in the 2006 Softball Australia Friendship Series.

Australia Green, Australia Gold, NSW Metro, NSW Country, Queensland Academy of Sport and the Sunstate Wanderers will take on USA Stars, USA Red & USA Blue comprising the best softballers from colleges across the United States.

Australia Green, Australia Gold, NSW Country, NSW Metropolitan, Titans & New Zealand will go head to head in the Men's Competition.

"This series is a fantastic opportunity for some of Australia's up and coming softball talent to develop their game" says Cathy Kerr, General Manager of Softball NSW.

Games commence at 1pm on July 2 with finals taking place at 1pm on Thursday July 6.

But the action does not end there! The Australian Under 19 Men's Team will the take New Zealand in a three match series from July 7 - 9.
