From 21^st to 28^th January, the best of Australian Baseball will be going head-to-head in the 2006 Financial Wealth Claxton Shield National Baseball Championships.

Reigning champions the New South Wales Patriots will be aiming for their third consecutive Claxton Shield Title but will face tough opposition from the Queensland Rams, Western Heelers, Victorian Aces, Australian Provincials and South Australia.

This is State against State! This is Mate against Mate! This isn't just about sport - this is about pride!

The Championships kick off at 3.00pm on Saturday January 21 when South Australia take on the Western Heelers. The Victorian Aces will then take to the diamond to confront last years title holders the NSW Patriots at 7.30pm in a 2005 Grand Final replay in front of a vocal home crowd.
