The Boys Are Back In Town

Australia's best Male Softballers are back in town for the 2006 Open Men's Australian Softball Championship from March 5 -11 at Blacktown Olympic Park.

Come see defending Premiers Victoria take on Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, the ACT and New South Wales with in the week long competition, culminating in the Grand Final at 7.30pm on Saturday 11th March.

Australian Open Men's representative and brothers Joel & Travis Southam (Georges River) will take to the diamond to represent their states in the same team for the very first time.

Shaun Beckley (Campbelltown), Justin Brown (Newcastle), Demetrious Doney (Central Coast), Craig Malcolm (Georges River), David Newsome (Campbelltown), Wade Passfield (Macarthur), Aaron Ristau (Penrith City), Nick Shailes (Far North Coast), Peter Shearer (Southern Districts), Andrew Thurtell (Georges River),Scott Watson (Campbelltown) & Jayson White (Campbelltown) complete the team who are looking to secure the coveted John Reid Shield in front of a vocal home crowd.
