Athletics Sprint into Blacktown Olympic

The Athletics Season 'sprints into action' at Blacktown Olympic Park this April with the first class Athletics facilities the 'venue of choice' for over 70 primary and secondary schools athletics carnivals in 2008.

Glendenning Primary School kicked off the 7 month carnival season at the end of March and now its all action straight through to the last school carnival on 22nd October 2008.

Mt Druitt, Blacktown, Hawkesbury, Hills, Lansdowne, Prospect, Cumberland, Nepean and the Hills Sports High School will all hold their zone carnivals at Blacktown Olympic Park as well as the Sydney West Regional Carnival being held on 1st and 4th August.

All athletics carnival bookings at Blacktown Olympic Park include use of the athletics facilities and equipment including the internationally acclaimed all weather MONDO athletics track, throwing fields, long jump and high jump facilities. The facility also boasts a 1200 seat covered spectator grandstand, fully operational kiosk and function room.

But its not just Athletics Carnivals at Blacktown Olympic Park! The best in Softball, Baseball and Soccer facilities are also available for hire for school gala days or sports sessions. The grounds are also the perfect setting for cross country carnivals, orienteering or fun runs.
