NSW Take On Queensland At Claxton Shield National Baseball Championships

The fierce rivalry between the New South Wales Patriots and the Queensland Rams will be on display at Blacktown Olympic Park for the final round of the 2008 Claxton Shield National Baseball Championship on February 1 & 2.

The new look Claxton Shield Series has seen teams compete in Eastern & Southern Divisions over six rounds, with the winning team from each division earning a place in the Finals.

The NSW Patriots are currently leading the Eastern Division but will have to fight of a strong challenge from Queensland to play in the Final Series from February 8 to 10.

The games kick off at 7.30pm on Friday February 1, followed by the doubled header on Saturday February 2 with games at 3.30pm and 7.30pm.
