Brazilian Flair At Blacktown Olympic Park!

Ever seen Beckham bend it or Ronaldo juggle it? Well at Blacktown Olympic Park the world renowned Brazilian Soccer School was showing off in true samba soccer style!

During March, Blacktown Olympic Park hosted the Castle Hill RSL Soccer Club in an exclusive 4 week intensive training course run by the Brazilian Soccer School. The coaching team worked closely with the first and reserve grade premier division sides, teaching technical improvements to a range of skills and disciplines including quick footwork, close dribbling, passing, heading and shooting.

Developed nearly 20 years ago the Brazilian Soccer School was originally designed for professional soccer clubs, focusing on teaching technical skills to elite athletes. Today the Brazilian Soccer School has broadened its playing field, offering a complete development program designed for both children and adults of all skill levels and focusing on every aspect of the World Game. From small beginnings the Brazilian Soccer School now operates in over 50 countries worldwide with 8 such schools here in Australia.

Head Coach at the School here in Australia, Paul Bertolissio, commented "the training we offer gives teams and individual players the confidence to use Brazilian skills all over the park from defense to attack. This local Premier League side has got some great talent and the Brazilian Soccer School training will hopefully give them the confidence and competitive edge over competition throughout this season."

Whilst their stay at Blacktown Olympic Park was specifically designed to work with Castle Hill RSL Soccer Club, Paul hopes to return to the Park in the future, with courses open to all budding soccer stars. The Brazilian Soccer School currently operates in several areas of Sydney and metro area including Southern Districts, Macarthur and Penrith.
