Claxton Shield returns to Blacktown Olympic Park from Friday 11 to Saturday 12 December 2009 with the NSW Patriots taking on South Australia in Round 6 of the competition.

This series is shaping up to be a blockbuster with South Australia currently sitting in 1^st place on the Claxton Shield table and our very own New South Wales Patriots residing in equal 3^rd place on the table. A couple of heart breaking losses in the bottom of the last innings in both the Perth Heat & Victoria Aces road trip series have made life interesting for the Patriots.

New South Wales won't take the South Australians lightly as they strive to inch back within striking position of the all important 1^st position on the table. South Australia have jumped out to a commanding 8-3 win/loss record and are currently 2.5 games clear of New South Wales.

Yep, the series is shaping to be a cracker with much riding on the outcomes of the 3 game series. So let's get out there and cheer the Patriots home for a series win:

Game 1: Friday 11^th December 7.30pm.

Game 2: Saturday 12^th December 4.30pm. (7 Innings game).

Game 3: Saturday 12^th December 7.30pm. (9 Innings game).

Gates open 1 ½ hour before games commence both days.

The NSW Patriots aren't happy to be sitting in 3^rd place and will be looking to make a statement this weekend, so make sure you're there to be part of it!
