Blacktown Olympic Park will host its first senior AFL match next year as part of the 2010 NAB Cup.

The Round 1 NAB Cup Match between the Sydney Swans and Carlton will be played at the new AFL/Cricket Precinct on Saturday, February 20.

The match will be broadcast nationally on Network 10 and provide an opportunity for footy fans and Western Sydney community to experience high quality AFL in their own backyard.

Blacktown Olympic Park is also the home base for the first Western Sydney Team, who announced AFL Legend Kevin Sheedy the team's inagural coach. The Western Sydney team will join the national competition in 2012.
