Sydney Swans Make A Mark at Blacktown Olympic Park
Thursday, July 16, 2009
Sydney Swans Stars Ed Barlow and Nick Smith made their mark at Blacktown Olympic Park on Tuesday 14th July at the NAB Auskick Sydney Swans Holiday Camp.
The Swans players were on hand to pass on their skills and tips to over 50 boys and girls participating in the camp, whilst making time to pose for photos and sign autographs.
Aimed at youngsters aged 4 to 13 years, the AFL NAB Auskick Clinics focus on teaching the skills of AFL through fun games and mini matches in a safe and friendly environment.
With the first AFL Games played last week at the new AFL/Cricket Stadium at Blacktown Olympic Park as part of the Under 16 National AFL Championship, some of these youngsters may be the stars of tomorrow and take to the field in the future for the Western Sydney AFL Team.
More NAB Auskick Sydney Swans Holiday Camps are planned for the October School Holiday period. For more information on upcoming camps visit www.aflnswact.com.au or call the AFL Western Sydney office on 9834 8000.
