AFL Finals Fever Kicks Into Blacktown Olympic Park

The 2010 AFL season at Blacktown Olympic Park has been nothing short of sensational. Teams from across the country have made their way to the heart of sport in western Sydney from February until September to play in AFL competitions such as the NAB Under 16 National Championships, the TAC Cup, NAB Challenge, NAB Cup and the PSSA State Carnival.

Now it's AFL Finals time and competition is rolling in fast and strong as we see the best teams in AFL go head to head during 'Sportember' at Blacktown Olympic Park.

The finals action kicks off with the Greater Sydney Junior Finals on Saturday, September 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring AFL players to get a taste of the big time, playing at the home of Team GWS at Blacktown Olympic Park.

Blacktown may just see the AFL's next star when players take part in the Primary School Paul Kelly Cup final on September 6 and 7. It will be a fun day out with some high quality AFL being played.

The Swans Cup is one of the most popular secondary school competitions in Australia and this year the best footballers will get their chance to shine when they play off in the final on September 16.

The AFL Sydney Final series is back for another year and will take place on September 5, 11 and 12. The best footballers from around the state will be on show at Blacktown Olympic Park as each team vies for a place in the Grand Final on September 18. Who will earn the right to lift the coveted premiership cup?
