NSW have claimed both the Men's & Women's 2010 Under 16 National Softball Championships in spectacular style at Blacktown Olympic Park.

It was a classic state of origin final with both the NSW Men and Women taking on Queensland in the final on Saturday January 16 in front of a vocal home crowd.

The NSW Boys claimed victory over Queensland 7 runs to 2 in an exciting final which saw some fantastic batting from the NSW Men.

After going through the championship undefeated and conceding only 3 runs, the NSW Women once again displayed their dominance on the diamond keeping Queensland scoreless in their 3 - 0 victory to retain the Esther Deason Shield.
