Lights, Camera, Action at Blacktown Olympic Park

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

The starters gun was replaced by the call of 'Lights, Camera, Action!' at the Blacktown Olympic Park Athletics Centre, with the venue hosting one of the final challenges for the Channel Seven series 'Beauty & The Geek, Australia'.

Hosted by former 'Home & Away' star Bernard Curry, the second series of the successful television show sees 8 pairings of beauties and geeks put their brains and social skills to the test with the winners walking away with $100,000 in prize money.

Previous challenges in the series have seen the 'Beauties' study up on anatomy, undertake scientific experiments and re-take Year 4 history with the 'Geeks' taking on speed dating, composing and performing their own song to a live audience and getting in touch with their feelings.

Although you will have to wait for the series to air later this month to find out exactly what challenges took place at Blacktown Olympic Park, we can say that there is no doubt that the 'Beauties' are gorgeous and the 'Geeks' are well - Geeks!

The Blacktown Olympic Park Athletics Centre can be hired for not only sporting carnivals, but also functions, festivals and film shoots. For more information, please contact Blacktown Olympic Park on 9839 6591
