National AFL Championship Heads to Blacktown Olympic Park

AFL's hottest young stars will make their way to Blacktown Olympic Park to kick off the NAB AFL National Under 18 Championship.

The Park will play host to Round 1 on Saturday May 22 and Round 2 on Sunday June 6 with the competition providing the perfect opportunity for the next generation of AFL players to impress National selectors who will be amongst the crowd.

The long standing Under 18 Competition has proved to be a great stepping stone for many AFL past and present champions including Sydney Swans legend Tony "Plugger" Lockett.

Round 1 of the National Championship will kick off at 11am on Sunday May 22, with Queensland taking on Tasmania.

Saturday 22nd May

11am Queensland v Tasmania

1.30pm NSW/ACT Rams v Northern Territory

Sunday 6th June

10am Western Australia v Queensland

12.30pm NSW/ACT RAMS v Victoria Country

The Championship will then head to Victoria and the Northern Territory for Rounds 3 to 5 in June.
