NSW High Performance XII V Country Colts

Next week will see an intriguing battle featuring some of the future stars of cricket within the State when a NSW High Performance team take on NSW Country Colts at Blacktown Olympic Park No 2 ground.

These matches will take place at the same time as the NSW 2nd X1 take on Western Australia in a four-day fixture on the main Oval starting on Monday 8th February at 11am.

The NSW High performance team will feature several players that have been prominent in recent weeks including Adam Zampa who was part of the successful Australian U19 World Cup winning squad in New Zealand. In addition seven players who attended the recent Cricket Australia U18 Talent Camp in Brisbane have been included. Skipper Sean Abbott along with Pat Cummins, Kurtis Patterson, Josh Clarke, Nathan Brain, Brendon Reynolds and Scott Heaney will form the nucleus of the team.

Brain is currently representing the Futures League side in their match with Queensland at Allan Border Field.
