NSW Police Games BACK at Blacktown Olympic Park

Blacktown City will once again play host to the New South Wales Police Games - the eighth consecutive year!

During March and April, the NSW Police Games offers NSW Police, Corrective Services, Ambulance and Fire Brigade Officers the opportunity to participate in a variety of events over nine days. With a motto of "fun, spirit, fitness and camaraderie'" the 2010 games are sure to be memorable.

Blacktown Olympic Park will host a variety of track and field events on March 28 and 29 as well Slowpitch Softball on March 29. The Park will also co-host an 8km and a 3km Cross Country race on March 25 that will take competitors through the venue and up to Nurragingy Reserve.

The NSW Police Games events scheduled at Blacktown Olympic Park are as follows:


Thursday 25 March

- Cross Country

Saturday 27 March

Track and Field

- 5,000m

- High Jump

- Javelin

- Triple Jump

- 200m Sprint

- Discus

- 800m


Sunday 28 March

Track and Field

- 10,000,

- 100, Sprint

- Long Jump

- Shot Put

- 1,500m

- 3km walk

- 400m

- Team Relay


Monday 29 March

- Softball Slowpitch
