Baseball heats up over Easter

The Men's Under 23 Australian Baseball Championships will make their way to Blacktown Olympic Park over the Easter long weekend with competition taking place from April 23 -26.
Western Australia will be looking to defend their 2010 Championship title against teams from Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and the international challenge from New Zealand.
The NSW team boasts players from the Sydney Major League Competition including those from Blacktown Workers, Baulkham Hills and Penrith.
The Under 23 Championships were previously an invitational tournament however this is the first year it has become a National Championship.
To add to the baseball action on the diamond, a Provincial Competition will also run from April 23 - 30 at Blacktown Olympic Park's Baseball Centre.
This round robin style competition will see teams from Victoria, NSW, Western Australia, South Australia and New Caledonia play against each other twice over the seven days.
