Finals Fever!

A fever has struck the Baseball Centre at Blacktown Olympic Park - finals fever that is!


March and April will see nonstop action on the diamonds at Blacktown Olympic Park with the Masters League, Men's Sydney Major League and the NSW Women's Major League Competition all coming to a close for the 2010/2011 season.


The Baseball Masters League will play their grand final at Blacktown Olympic Park on March 14 and 15. Preliminary finals are still being held for Divisions One, Two and Three however the Deadstars, Shoeless Joes and the Rangers have already secured their place in their Grand Final.


The Men's Sydney Major League Competition has once again provided nothing short of an action packed season! Competition playoffs begin today with Second and Third Grade as well as the Under 18's playing until Grand Finals are held on March 26 and 27. First Grade will play in a thrilling five game Grand Final on March 19, 23, 26, 30 and April 2. The following teams have qualified for the finals series and will vie for their place in the Grand Final, including local club Blacktown Workers featuring in the First and Third Grade playoffs as well as the Under 18's.

With the NSW Women's Major League rounding up for the season, competition is red hot as teams go head to head in the coming weeks to earn a place in the Grand Final. B Grade preliminary games will be held on March 18 and A Grade preliminary games will be held on March 18 and 25. The Grand Finals will be held at Blacktown Olympic Park on March 25 (B Grade) and April 1 (A Grade).
