Sydney FC Stars in Blacktown

Sydney FC players, Dimitri Petratos and Mark Bridge, will make their way to Blacktown International Sportspark for the first time this Thursday.


Blacktown resident, 18 year old Dimitri Petratos, made an impressive debut for Sydney FC during the 2010/2011 A-League season and has been signed again for a second season. Both Dimitri and Mark will be at the International Goalkeepers Academy from 5.30pm to 7pm signing autographs and giving first hand advice to parents and players on what it takes to make it to the A-League.


The International Goalkeepers Academy, led by Ex Australian Socceroo Goalkeeper Jim Fraser, was established at Blacktown International Sportspark Sydney in 2005 to provide specialist goalkeeper training and development for students at all levels and ages. Over the past 5 years, many young talented players have progressed through the intensive program and have gone on to make the professional ranks; including Dean Bouzanis of Liverpool FC.
