All the action of the Claxton Shield National Baseball Championship returns to Blacktown Olympic Park in 2008.

In a new look home & away format, the NSW Patriots will take on Australian Provincial and Queensland Rams in the Eastern Division competition. South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia will compete in the Southern Division with winner from each vying for the 2008 Claxton Shied National Baseball Championship title.

Blacktown Olympic Park will host Round Three of the Eastern Division with NSW & Australian Provincial going head to head on January 11 & 12.

Round Six will see the traditional 'State of Origin' Battle between NSW & Queensland take to the Blacktown Olympic Park Baseball Diamonds on February 1 & 2.

With the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games just around the corner, players will be pulling out all the stops to impress selectors ensuring the games are highly competetive.
