The free festival marked the end of Youth Week and the beginning of the school holidays treating the youth of Western Sydney to a day of live music, graffiti art displays, trick bikes, mini
Organized by Blacktown City Council; Blacktown Youth Services Association; Emerton Youth Recreation Centre; Holroyd Youth Services, Hyland Road Youth Centre; and Western Area Adolescent Team, the drug and alcohol free event attracted over 2000 visitors throughout the day.
The festival featured hip-hop and rock talent as well as acoustic performances by up and coming artists including acoustic artist Caitlin Harnett and fusion rock band King Farook.
A 9 metre graffiti wall came to life throughout the day with experienced 'grafers' and artists creating a colourful artwork which will be hung at Blacktown Youth Centre. There were also individual blank canvases for masterpieces to be created.
Trick bike demonstrations and the motor expo thrilled the crowd with youngsters showing off their talent at mini skate park brought in especially for the event.
AFL & Soccer Sports clinics and mega inflatables gave teenagers somewhere to let off their energy with market stalls and information tents adding to the festival atmosphere.
